Still window shopping a potential fall purchase of a Grilla down here in Huntsville, and one thing that jumped out at me is that the optional set of Grillgrates they offer for searing sure looks the same as the full set I already have and use on my Weber Performer.
Does anyone with a Grilla and a Weber kettle know if the Weber kettle Grillgrate set will fit on your Grilla?
My thoughts really are that I will likely NOT need the set for the Grilla, as I imagine I would "smoke" stuff on the Grilla and have plenty of time to light a chimney of charcoal on the Performer Deluxe and dump it in the SNS for reverse searing steaks, but it would be nice to know that the same set of Grillgrates could be used on both grills, and would also help infuence me towards the original Grilla versus the Silverbac. The reasoning I have is that I may in fact replace my gas grill for "casual" grilling with the Grilla, and that I would toss the Grillgrates on when using it in that manner. Giving the Genesis to my son in November will be my excuse for the MCS purchase of the Grilla... and if long term I miss the Genesis too much, thinking a Blackstone 36 will be the gas outdoor cooking appliance.
