I've finally joined the YS640 club, after much research and inner debate. It involved a complete rework of my cooker profile to afford the cost and space. I posted a few months ago about my "nutty" plan (@Huskee's correctly applied term) to sell my Primo XL and another cooker. The insanity prevailed. This dude is HEAVY duty, solid, and looks like it should last longer than some other pellet cookers out there. First cook was very simple and a breeze. You will notice the Weber Kettle standing guard in the background.

I feel like I really should own one of those. Wonder if they'd give me a family discount. Bound to be related somehow. Congrats on your new family member. -Steve (Yoder)
Very nice. I just picked up a used one and will be cleaning it up. Let us know how it goes. I am excited to get mine going, but it has been raining every day here in Houston, since I picked it up.
Texas Larry Ehhh...Emmm.... Sir, let's please let the Kettle out for air. Even death row inmates get an hour a day. Great looking cooker!!! Looks like your short a brisket, butt and ribs. 😀
You’re right @House-homey, had to throw something on it between rains. Next cook, in the rain, was just a reverse seared steak. Perfect. Coming up in a week or so is a family gathering with brisket burnt ends, venison shoulder, ribs, and sausage. The kettle will get a workout then too, I’m a-thinkin’. Should be fun.
