Is anyone here been using Kingsford pellets? I jut learned they’ve gotten into the business. Only place I can find them is on Amazon with ridiculousness shipping rates.

I have not give them a try but looking forward to it soon! Chris LaRocco, from Trae Fuels, maker of Kingsford pellets, was on the BBQ Central Show a few weeks back. That segment starts a 38:00 min in. Sounds like there coming to 172 Lowes in the near future with 1200 to follow! As well as Hometown Sears Stores. and some Cabalas.

I didn't know they were getting in the game either. Shipping is the killer for pellets. I lucked out and found a semi-local guy that sells them on the side. He was in the same situation as many of us finding a source and not getting killed on shipping. The difference is he owns a paving company so he has the space and equipment to bring in and store multiple pallets worth at once. So he did and set up a website. If Kingsford shows up local I'd be willing to give them a try.Comment

I'm a fan of Cookin' Pellets on Amazon - and they're Prime Eligible. I'd be interested to try some Kingsford when they make it to Lowes.Comment
