    Wife helped.

I told my bride the plan was for pulled pork today. She tried to be helpful and she went to the store and got a pork shoulder. Unfortunately, she got the deboned shoulder. So, it got some rub in crevices not usually rubbed and trussed. Will see how it cooks. On Yoder at 225. Rubbed with "Eat" rub.

And that’s what I did. Went with a truss to keep everything compact.

What's that old saying? "Some days you eat the boar; other days the boar eats you"! You're going to be eating the boar today!

You’re good to go. I prefer boneless shoulders. For me I think it’s less of a chance for bone splinters. And I’ve had a few. Actually have a relatively new crown as proof. 😖

Eat BBQ Zero to Hero rub is excellent. I took a course from Rod Gray a number of years ago and he's a great Pitmaster.

It is good stuff. Crutched (was in a time crunch) with splash of apple juice, Worcestershire, and jalapeño jam.
