Out of the two, I would vote Silverback. I like Grilla's business model and attention to customer service. Every pellet grill is eventually going to have a problem. How the company rectifies it is what sets them apart. So in my book, Grilla and Rec-Tec are excellent in that department. I've also heard good things about Camp Chef and GMG. But to your question, Silverback all the way.
I agree with Jonny B B. I have seen both Silverback and Rec-Tec both are great on customer service Rec-Tec a little high, Silverback has a great price and solid product with Double wall insulation and I have seen on youtube This guy (Jus piddlin) he is an awesome cook and as a marine he is totally honest about why he made a decision on his Silverback . let us know and best of luck Sir
