Anyone heard of or tried out a Z Grill? Supposedly a new company producing pellet grills. I have a Traeger, and my brother bought one. (He lives with me and was obviously NOT paying attention, since he thought I DIDN'T have a pellet grill).
Anyway, I am trying to figure out if it would be better to leave it in its box, or break it out and use it. Any comments, opinions or thoughts?
Thanks a lot. Gigi

It’ll cook food. Not the greatest temperature controller and not the highest quality steel, but it will Smoke! Use it. Just don’t expect it to last forever! Also, use a remote thermometer and don’t rely on the temperature controller for long cooks until it’s proven reliable.
(dog jumped in my lap and hit Post!)
anyway, I was trying to say that yes, the quality isn't the greatest, but doesn't seem too bad.
I have a Fireboard, and will certainly be monitoring my first cooks when I fire it up for the first time, (not today).
