Does anyone have ideas on how to seal up my Woodwind a little better. I get a decent amount of smoke loss from the lid. I plan on shooting my grill with my FLIR thermal gun on my next grilling session. I would like to check it for even heating. Would ya'll be interested on what I find? I could post the pics so ya'll get a feel for what my results are.

Make sure and clean off any greasy residue.

Great link! I need some of that for sure. What bten said though, don't restrict air movement too much. Smoke out of the hopper can indicate burn back where pellets burn back from the firepot up the auger into the hopper. That's bad.
