Hello: I just received my Camp Chef Woodwind a few weeks ago. I'm in the process of acquiring accessories so that I can be prepared, being a firm believer in Murphy's Law.
I bought the jerky racks for the Woodwind, although I don't like 'em, having had experience with the jerky rack in my Smoke Vault (24") -- a real PITA to clean. I thought that I could use the cooking racks from the Smoke Vault, but they don't fit properly in the Woodwind.
I asked Camp Chef if there are extra cooking racks, as opposed to jerky racks, for the Woodwind. There aren't. I think that Camp Chef should consider making extra cooking racks available for the Woodwind, and for all their pellet cookers.
Having said that, for those of you who use the jerky racks, what has been your experience? How do you find cleaning them? A chore? The folks at Camp Chef tell me that they're "easy" to clean using the chain mail cleaning device that they sell. I'm not convinced.
