Greetings! For whatever reason, Walmart is having some crazy clearance sales right now. Today I found a Camp Chef pellet grill for $200. Does anyone here have one, or know anything about them? This could be a great deal.

$200 is about half price for Walmart. This is not the DLX model, so it's not as full-featured. The fan, auger motor and controller cost about $100-150 to replace, so it seems like a reasonable price. Just don't expect it to run 6-10 years without care and maintenance.Comment

I think it is the smokePro SE. That is the one they have near me. Watching to see what happens to the price after Labor Day. It is still $344.00 here.Comment

Check out the Camp Chef web site. The Smoke Pro DLX has a different base, and a chute to unload pellets.
The next one down is the STX. lower quality base, with no dump chute for the pellets, different cover on the pellet hopper, and no upper rack. Same controller as the DLX.
The lowest one is the SE. It has a different controller, without a digital display. All 3 have the ash dump feature. I think you can upgrade the controller for about $50. You can get a upper rack for about $35.
I think all 3 are the same size.
