Greetings! For whatever reason, Walmart is having some crazy clearance sales right now. Today I found a Camp Chef pellet grill for $200. Does anyone here have one, or know anything about them? This could be a great deal.
Scotch: Current favorite- The Arran (anything by them), Glenmorangie 12yr Lasanta, sherry cask finished. The Balvenie Double Wood, also like Oban 18yr, and The Glenlivet Nadurra (Oloroso sherry cask finished) among others. Neat please.

$200 is about half price for Walmart. This is not the DLX model, so it's not as full-featured. The fan, auger motor and controller cost about $100-150 to replace, so it seems like a reasonable price. Just don't expect it to run 6-10 years without care and maintenance.
Check out the Camp Chef web site. The Smoke Pro DLX has a different base, and a chute to unload pellets.
The next one down is the STX. lower quality base, with no dump chute for the pellets, different cover on the pellet hopper, and no upper rack. Same controller as the DLX.
The lowest one is the SE. It has a different controller, without a digital display. All 3 have the ash dump feature. I think you can upgrade the controller for about $50. You can get a upper rack for about $35.
I just got my Woodwind about a month ago. Minor cooks so far, nothing major yet. I'm nerdy with my grilling equipment; so, maintenance is not a problem for me. Take care of it, and it'll take care of you.
