Just took delivery of my first pellet grill, a Wood Wind with sear box. I'm very impressed with this grill. First cook was Rib Eyes with Montreal Steak seasoning, cooked at 200° To a internal temp of 115, then a reverse sear to a final temp of 130°. I don't think a high end steakhouse could have made it taste any better.

I've had mine since Aug. Couldn't be happier! I managed to sell my Weber Genesis which spring-board my funding for the Woodwind. Last night I low smoked a slab of salmon while roasting seasoned cut potatoes on medium with the sear box. I really like the fact that if you plan it out, you don't have to heat up the house using the oven. Also, cooked thick cut bacon the other morning with it, set to 350f and flipped once. Not gonna lie... BEST bacon I've ever had. Good crisp without the char from flair-ups.... and don't even get me started on the smoked stuffed jalapenos! It's nice to be able to throw food on and go hop on the 4wheeler and go ride for an hour or so and come back and the grill not be on fire or your food completely trashed. Just set it and forget it.

Weber Summit Kamado with SnS and Vortex.. Broil King Baron, Primo Oval Junior. Primo XL. Love grilling steaks, ribs, and chicken. Need to master smoked salmon. Absolutely love anything to do with baking bread. Favorite cool weather beer: Sam Adams Octoberfest Favorite warm weather beer: Yuengling Traditional Lager.
