This could be a very good thing for the Memphis pellet line of grills. SES owns the high-end grill maker Alfresco which are made in SoCal. Hopefully this acquisdition will lead to a recovery of what was a very premium pellet grill maker.
I'd be willing to bet that they continue to manufacturer their grills in China and continue to charge a premium, what would be smart is to lower the prices on those models and focus on a single US made premium model while continuing to sell a few "budget" models maybe in the 2K range
Reading glitchy ‘s posts on this brand suggests the brand and smokers need a massive overhaul. Hopefully, we’ll see things moving in the right direction soon.
