I would strongly consider a Req Teq. I had one for 8 years and it ran fine plus if there was an issue their customer service was right on top of it.

Weber Genesis 300 series
Weber Summit Charcoal With custom grill center
Primo XL 400
Blackstone 22" TableTop Griddle
Ooni Pro Pizza oven
The pellet guys at my camp (think more like Cabins and less like tents) have largely moved to Rec Tec. Probably doesnt mesh with your "retail" requirement, but they're all happy with them.

After reading some of the interesting posts about running PG's off of batteries, I think I am going to experiment with my 2 Star MAK. I have a couple of lithium power banks that are 2000watt. I have them for CPAP backup. Not that I am going to put my big MAK PG in the car and take it to the beach. I am just curious if it will work. I have only owned the MAK PG and it has been a wonderful addition to my outdoor kitchen. I also have several other cookers. I will report back after I do the battery experiment on my MAK.
