Very interesting concept. I don't think it will replace outdoor cooking...that is why I grill. Could be great for someone in an apartment.

I like it. Not for most of us, because by definition we're all people who can and do smoke food outside. But for people who live in apartments and condos or who want the occasional smoked food but live north and don't want to smoke outside in the rain, cold and snow? It's a great idea if it can be made to work well.

Why not? Heat is heat and smoke is smoke. If they can eliminate or at least effectively minimize the likelihood off setting of smoke detectors (I have my doubts) and provide enough volume in a countertop appliance to be useful (I have my doubts) ... then, why not? I can see the appeal for those who live in apartments or similar where an outdoor cooker of any sort isn't feasible at all. So, why not?Last edited by MBMorgan; January 12, 2022, 12:45 PM.
