    First Cook on MAK...well first smoke

    Well, couple rounds of burgers and such...time to put on some ribs. used the Bear Mountain Hickory that MAK sent with the grill. Really surprised actually how low the consumption of pellets is. I've done the burn in, 3 medium temp cooks (350-400) and now ribs @ 225 for 5 hours. Don't think I've used 1/2 the bag (20lb) yet. Very nice.

    These at various points toward end of cook. Waiting in oven now for guests. Have a good night!

      Other than the smoke output, one of the best things about the MAK is how frugal it is with pellet consumption. Hope the ribs turned out amazing!
