    1) If it starts on fire, you are spanking the monkey too hard.

    2) LSG is the only answer.

Definitely won't fit in the RV Basement!

Kevin, I had an OG explosion once that was a user error -- didn't empty the hopper when first start failed. Too many pellets! It was very scary.

That LSG makes me wish I needed something that big.

I'm glad you and your home are safe, Kevin. What a frightening turn of events.

Maybe I can now stop doing the "should I or shouldn't I dance" about getting a pellet cooker. I'm prepared to have less smoke flavor. I'm prepared to have more convenience. I'm not prepared for a house fire, since the thing would reside on my upper level deck off the kitchen.

I almost pulled the trigger about 4 years ago with the Grilla but backed off due to some wise advice here on The Pit about reliability. Now I'm glad I did, because it would not have fit my current needs. Who thinks about a pellet pooper catching on fire? Not me. Until now.

    K.

Yeah i know. I really liked the convience, and overall I think pellet grills are safe. I don't think i will replace it unless Grilla offers a great deal, and even then i would not leave it running and run errands like i used to. Or run it overnight. I haven't heard back, so i doubt that they are going to make me a discount offer.

Hopefully Grilla will help you out further in some fashion.

I had it for like 10 years, I think? I haven't heard from them so I doubt that they will offer anything. And that's OK. Unless it is something like 50% off, I wouldn't accept it.

klflowers, Ahh, gotcha. For some reason I was thinking you only recently bought it, last couple years or so. 10 is a good run.

klflowers - You never know. The Chimp is currently priced at 30% off. Maybe they will sweeten the deal for you.

Been a fan for many years. But I hate to say I have seen some real changes. Prices have also climbed considerably.
