This may explain the fire sale they had with the big discounts on the Silverbac recently - they were clearing inventory for new models.
EDIT: Never mind. I see the original still on sale, and that the 2.0 is WAY WAY more expensive.

Grills:
Weber 22" Kettle Premium w/Slow N' Sear 2.0
Pit Barrel Cooker
Grilla Grills Chimp
W.C. Bradley & Co. Char Kettle CK-115 ~1980s Vintage Grill (inactive)
It is interesting to study the features of the Chimp 2.0 and compare it to mine. Except the shelf, it looks like they've integrated all of the previous accessories into the base model. And making the legs easier to retract is a good thing (although I never retract mine).
The pellet dump is a nice feature.
The new controller design gives me pause. I'm not sure how they could have made the bright-blue large LED display on the original Alpha Connect more readable -- you can read it from across the yard -- but awesome if they did. What concerns me is that the controller appears to be no longer flush with the hopper and is angled upwards. This would seem to put it more in the path of rain, perhaps?
