The power cord for my four year old OG Grilla developed cracks on the outer insulation, causing it to fail in certain positions. I contacted the company for guidance and suggestions, figuring that I would have to either purchase a part or fashion one from hardware on my own. Grilla responded by sending me a replacement cord free of charge. To top it off, despite the holidays, it arrived in two days! I am amazed at their responsiveness and support for a product I bought four years ago. When a company backs up their customers this way, they deserve recognition

After the owner sold the company about a year or two ago, there was the natural concern that some aspects of production or customer service would slip. That does not appear to be the case at all.
(On their facebook group the main complaints are the usual social media silliness in which someone expected an immediate write-back after sending an email at 2 am on a Saturday.)

Yep, I am in the group too. I wonder sometimes about the raving complaints. They have lots of customers, and I am guessing something will slip through the cracks now and then, but mostly, they are very responsive and back-up their products. When I ordered my OG, I called them to find out when it would be shipped. I left a voice-mail, and they called me back within the hour.

This is great to hear. I bought mine before they sold the company. One of the main reasons I purchased was because of the great reviews of customer service. I am glad that is still the case. Thanks for sharing.Last edited by Rob Johnston; December 26, 2024, 07:38 PM.

Yeah their customer service has always been stellar. I really like my chimp; I have thought about adding an OG to the lineup but I would have to get rid of something. I am not ready to do that yet

Yes, just to add to the Grilla party, a couple years ago my OG started to trip my GFCI and gave me fits while starting up. I was at the very end of my warranty. It was an igniter problem and with a quick email with no hassle whatsoever, they sent the part with instructions and an hour later I was cooking again.
If only they would sell me a new wifi/alpha controller.... but they are top notch!
