It's a capital expense for my competition gear! I've bought a Trek, the revised Davy Crocket with non-springy feet. This one shouldn't roll in the back of the van (side effect of springy feet!). After having a cable wired into the 12 volt system in the van so I can cook anywhere, this Trek will be a permanent resident in the Winnie B. Old Davy will mount in the storage area of the Woodmaster Minihog. Then I'll have 2 contest ready rigs to choose from.

I'm having regrets on buying the pizza attachment though after reading posts on here about it (but I suspect it was the one for the bigger cookers.

I actually did shop around looking at other makes and models. GMG made some nice changes from Davy to Trek that work for me.

I've not yet seen a shootout between a Davy and a Trek. Might be interesting.
