    Place to Wrap

I have moved to a new location and have a very small area for my grills, in fact I only have room for two (a wsm and a woodwind pro 36). I need to add a work area to prep and wrap meat. Any ideas?Any suggestions on grill carts? TIA

ID:	1615898 Here’s the cart that I have. The side shelves fold down to save space when not it use. It’s all metal. Really solid. The two drawers hold all my gloves, tongs, etc. I love it. I got it a few years ago at Walmart. Not sure if it is still available.

I thought that was a Blackstone with a cover turned so the knows weren't visible. Come on J - where is that AR enabler gene?

Txmat Do you need a permanent work area or something foldable due to limited space? How much area do you have to work with?

Txmat I have a table similar to that. You can wrap on it if you tear the parchment or foil first. You can't set the box and the meat on it at the same time, but it folds up easily.

It can be permeant, but I prefer movable. I have an area of about 4 feet long by 3 feet deep

That’s what I was thinking Jim. It’s got a lot of cool features, including a prep basin…handy for scraping food scraps into.

I have several sizes of these and use them all the time

This Regency 24" x 30" stainless steel commercial work table with undershelf provides additional work space in your busy kitchen. Great for prepping entrees, sides, and desserts, it's constructed from 18-gauge, 304 series stainless steel which offers greater durability and corrosion resistance than type 430 stainless steel. It has a smooth, easy-to-clean surface which makes this work table an ideal addition to your establishment. With the ability to hold up to 400 lb. of evenly distributed weight on the top shelf and 300 lb. on the undershelf, this work table provides additional storage options in crowded kitchens or tight work spaces. The adjustable, galvanized steel undershelf should be placed 6" off of the ground when used in food service applications to comply with food safety regulations. Plus, a height of 34" allows you to create a comfortable work station for your employees. For increased stability, the (4) 28" legs of this work table are 1 5/8" in diameter and are also made of tubular galvanized steel, with 5" casters to make your table fully mobile while remaining at standard working height. With brakes on 2 of the casters, you can make sure the unit does not move when you don't want it to. However, if you wish for the unit to not be mobile, then the legs also come with adjustable plastic bullet feet for stationary use.Overall Dimensions: Length: 30" Width: 24" Height: 34"

ofelles is this table pretty sturdy, as in will it support my 100 lb meat grinder as a permanent weight and roll around without being wobbly?

58limited Yes it is sturdy and stable. I have my 40# slicer on one and zero problems.
They do make one with 16ga SS if I remember correctly

ofelles I went ahead and bought the 16ga version. The one with casters is $225 but the one without casters is $155. They sell a heavy duty set of casters for it for $50, so $20 cheaper than buying the one with casters already installed. Plus shipping is $10 cheaper when buying them separately. I'll move the grinder to this table and use my current lighter duty table for my new commercial food processor.

I have this cart. $247 currently. I bought it because of the storage. Had it 6 months, outside and no surface rust so far.

I've had that for a couple of years, I bought a cover for it. No rust so far and I live near the ocean.

I don’t wrap often but I use pans for some meats. I just take 2 sawhorses, put a 2x3’ 3/4” piece of plywood on top, cover with some butcher paper, and go to town. Then all back into the garage until needed again. I do have a stainless table on wheels but usually during a cook it gets cluttered with other things I’d have to move in order to wrap or pan so the plywood gets called to action.

did all the parts fit together when you built it? I bought this brand's bench and it did not fit together well. It has not held up well either. Good to know it has not rusted.
