Hey there, some of you may recall my agonizing navel-gazing as I researched the acquisition of the SnS kettle a while back, to sit on a small concrete pad I discovered under a bunch of gardening stuff in the back yard near our patio. All fine except the pad is radically off level, and it's been kind of a pain over the months I've been using the kettle there.

(The bubble in the center tube is all the way over to the left, not easy to see!)
My lovely bride agreed to my suggestion to move the chimineya we had in the little knee-walled alcove of our patio, up to a small pad we had poured toward the back of the yard, and then put the Weber gas grill there. This allows the SnS kettle to then sit where the Weber was.
Before (waaaay before!):

After:

Got me some chuck ribs on the kettle, and it is SO much better to be on a level surface! (except for the imperceptibly shallow slope on the patio surface for drainage)
