I cannot imagine the utility for a salt cannon. I say that as an owner/lover of a pepper cannon.

I can oversalt things easily with my OXO grinder.

Its kinda funny to me that the creator of the pepper cannon even said that he originally did not intend to make one, he didn't really see a need for it.

I am of a similar mind. I love my pepper cannon, but I am struggling with the salt grinder. I am a collector at heart and want a "full set," but $150 is a chunk of change!

It was requested by a lot of backers of the pepper. I thought they were nuts, and the firm noted that it wasn't advised to put salt in the pepper cannon. They had to redesign the grinder or the whole thing... I have a MannKitchen smash burger spatula that I like, in addition to the pepper cannon. Their pepper is absurdly expensive though. I bought once, and will never again.

I ordered mine as soon as I got the email. I got 7 cookers, so why not a salt cannon to go with my pepper cannon? Makes perfect alternate sense.
