I have been MCSing for a Blackstone griddle for a few months, but between the additional expense and patio space, I haven't pulled the trigger. As a potential alternative, I just ordered a Little Griddle to get me by. I know it's not a Blackstone, but hopefully I'll be able to post some decent results. I'm starting with some smash burgers tonight.

I'd be interested to know what kind of griddle temps you can hit and how even the temp is on the Little Griddle.
Also interested in peoples thoughts on why they would still add a Blackstone or a Camp Chef griddle/stove to their collection if they already have toys like Grill Grates, a portable coleman type campstove and a bunch of cast iron stuff. Trust me I'm all ears and my MCS is looking for an excuse, I'm just having trouble coming up with one.
Hugh For me it comes down to grease collection for the griddling (I think I made a word up) part, but also the Camp Chef stoves have super high BTU outputs for if you want to fry, get big pots of water boiling, etc. For a full discussion see these 2 threads:
I've had the same questions as Hugh and decided this was affordable enough to try, even if I end up getting a Blackstone eventually. I recently got a Char-Broil gasser that came with a small griddle over the side burner, but as Dan Deter said, the grease collection became a problem instantly. If I want to cook for more than two people, I needed something bigger.
Large Big Green Egg, Weber Performer Deluxe, Weber Smokey Joe Silver, Fireboard Drive, 3 DigiQs, lots of Thermapens, and too much other stuff to mention.
I use the ABC Drip n Griddle half moon on my Weber the same way, it’s a great tool for when you want to griddle, but don’t want to own a complete new appliance. That looks like the same idea, but bigger and for a gasser. Nice!
I bought the large little griddle about 2 months ago. Fits perfectly on my Weber Genesis and works fantastic. I love it. Holds heat very well. Did a taco party and it served me well. Plenty of room. One of my better equipment purchases. Enjoy!
I picked one up at Sam's club a few years ago. It works great on the Cal Flame P4 and almost fits on the Weber 22. I wish the Blackstone top came off and you could use it as a big gas grill. I still might buy one someday, after I expand the patio.
