I picked up Foodsaver 2110 for $60 at Costco - it’s fairly barebones...seals bags, vacuums/seals and is small enough to stick in a cabinet. It also comes with an attachment you can use to vacuum ziplock style bags.
Not the sturdiest built machine (it’s all plastic) but so far so good for my needs (1-2 times a week)
I bought the Vacmaster Duo 550 a couple years ago. Both a chamber vac and a vacuum sealer. Never use the vacuum sealer part as the chamber vac does everything I need. I do mainly 3 to 4lb bags of pulled pork as I always like to keep 30 to 40lbs in the freezer for people who just want pulled pork for a party. But have also done chili and stews in single serve bags.
I wish I would have forgot the vacuum sealer function and got a larger chamber vac.
Chamber vac bags are pennies on the dollar compared the the vacuum sealer rolls or bags. If you do a lot of vac sealing the chamber vac will pay for itself in the long run from savings on bags.
I recently bought a Weston 2300 professional vacuum sealer. I had a need for the 15†wide and able to do extra long bags. I would have liked to get a chamber sealer, and may also get one eventually. I package and sell bacon and things at work and will routinely do 50 single pound packages at a time. Only issue I have is having to wait 20-30 seconds between sealing or the bar gets too warm and has melted through the bag. I don’t think this is an issue many people will run into, but I bag all of my meat and then run it all through the vacuum sealer.
I just killed my cheapo foodsaver and replaced it with a FM5480 from Costco. It seems significantly better. I'm just starting to try Sous Vide so I hope it holds up.

I have a Food Saver vac sealer and it works okay. Sometimes it is tough to get it too seal or to get the vacuum to pull all the air out. My go too is the Vac Master 215VP and it blows the Food Saver out of the water. If I need to buy another vac sealer for up north, it will be another Vac Master long before I buy another Food Saver. I know the Vac Master is way more expensive but, to me, that extra cost is well worth it.
