Fantastic and hearty congratulations on your retirement. I'd retire early if I knew my company was going to give me those cutting boards....

Thanks guys! Very few people get to retire at age 55. I feel very blessed. Previous plans to open a small Brewpub have been scrapped. We came to our senses and decided working 60+ hours a week is not what we want to do. Instead we will spend more time with our friends and family. Do some Charity work. And of course enjoy our hobbies which include Custom Motorcycles, Hunting, Fishing, Homebrewing, and of course OUTDOOR cooking. Cheers!!!

Awesome. Oil them up well. I just wiped off mine from slicing up two briskets. One day I plan to get a big Boo or similar.

Jerod Broussard I also got a 16 oz bottle of Emmet's Elixir wood conditioner. That should get me started. I plan to take good care of these boards. They truly are heirloom quality pieces.

Nice boards and congrats on the retirement. I'm counting the days myself. We are selling off most of our business so I will retire. We are keeping a portion of it because the wife wants to stay working a few more years.
Because we are self employed I had to buy my own retirement gift. A nice set of kitchen knives!
Again congrats on being able to do it at 55 you are very lucky and you earned it!

True story. I plan to work on my physical fitness. I need to be in shape for the hunting and fishing I want to do. Not sure I'm ready for an Elk Hunt at elevation just yet. But I've got a few months to whip my fat ass into shape....LOL
