That's not MCS. It is practicality. That's not MCS. That's practicality. Say it over and over and you will come to convince yourself.

tbob4 I tried to tell my wife I need a copper Weber Performer. She says I have enough kettles. (Not true, 4 is a small number compared to all the other numbers of various things in the universe) I said "but I need the table of the Performer, that way when I need the table I have it, when I don't I still have the standard one." I think that's perfectly logical and practical thinking. I reminded her of the whole shoes in the closet thing. I got the look.... But I still say I'm right.

You are right. 100%. My problem is that I have a size 14.5 foot. They don't make 1/2 sizes past 13. So when I find a shoe that fits I have to buy it. I get the double "you have too many BBQ's and shoes" whammy! You're logic is spot on I just can't use it for myself.

Huskee - the only time you are ever right at home is when you admit your wife is right.

Amen RonB. However sometimes I tell my wife I would agree with her but one of us needs to be right!

That's a heck of a lunch box, DW! Can you get it into the cab or will you be adding a hitch?

Congrats. The only way I could get one is if it was big enough for me to sleep in...

tbob4 No. One of my IT clients is a broker in the foodservice industry. As a rep for many food products they do a lot of big catered events. They have 6 of them. 2 for hot, 2 for cold and 2that plug in to 110v. They have lots of cool things in their facility. A zero degree walk in freezer that's about the size of a 3 car garage, a walk in refrigerator about the size of a 2 car garage, a refrigerated van, a complete commercial kitchen, etc. and a lot of food products that are samples and inventory to prepare meals. My favorite supermarket. Any time I'm down there I get loaded up with food (ribs, roasts, pasta, hams, turkeys, chickens, etc.). The best part is there's no bill.

The first time they gave me a bunch of stuff, I didn't realize that my eyes were bigger than our freezers. My wife just looked at me and said where do you think we're going to store all that? Fortunately, neighbors and some of my other clients who live nearby were willing recipients of gifts. I mean how do you turn down stuff like a box of 15 racks of StL ribs, A couple of 10 lb roast beefs that go in grocery store displays for slicing. Since its all demo products when it gets close to expiration dates it goes to the food banks. One of my very favorite customers😀😀😀

i took the photo long ago, figuring someday someone would want to know what a real cambro was. It's actually the company's name.

              best regards,

              Jim

It is a fantastic apparatus! You are a lucky guy to have them as clients.

I must confess, I still don't know what MCS stands for. Maybe we need a section for acronyms and their meanings?

It's a CaterGator but it looks like Cambro is on the same page. Big difference in price, Cambro is $50 more and stores one less pan. I've used the same Carlisle since 2004, it's set up just like the CaterGator. Only thing I didn't see on the product is how much it weighs.

DWCowles -- is it real heavy? Did you order the hot/cold packs too? Thanks!

I figure weight is equal to my Carlisle. I use it cold on Friday after seasoning and hot on Saturday. The packs would be useful, I think.

Thanks! I haven't pulled the Buy button yet. I want to measure my Carlisle and see if they are the same size. I found some juice glasses and other good stuff on the site. Thanks DWCowles!
