Folks in my SV group think it's incredible. I'm probably trading in the unwanted airfryer for a 5 qt Instapot shortly. Same price at the moment on the 'zon.com, so easy.
I like my stovetop pressure cooker, but I have a hard time with it, probably due to lack of confidence. I'll be finding a new home for that, and maybe the West End slow cooker.
That Lorna Sass book I mentioned earlier in the thread (Pressure Perfect) is really good because it's very systematic (a bit like here). She presents a bunch of specific techniques, gives some prototype recipes using each, then lists a bunch of ways to vary them for different results. Appeals to the software guy in me. And it will work with the Instant Pot too!
The basic rice recipe justifies the price of the book (which if I remember, is pretty cheap).

Just got one for Christmas. Had not heard of it before then, but it made short work of a nice pot roast. Definitely see the appeal for a weeknight dinner.
We have one and use it all the time. It is awesome for the hectic fast paced life that most people have now days. You can usually find good deals different sites.
