Damn AAFES and their Home Depot collaboration strike again, with unsurprising help from FedEx. Package got to shipping facility in CA and fell into a black hole.

I ended up contacting HD, and the rep was super helpful so we got the other order cancelled and then reordered. He offered a 10% discount on the original sales price but couldnt do the tax free part. I had to reorder through AAFES, then provide the new order number, which didnt populate on the HD side. He said he put a note on my account to provide the discount. Called yesterday and while it took longer than it should have, but all sorted.

Faucet shipped from Ohio via UPS this time and is in NC.

Hopefully I'll have this thing installed this weekend.

Since my first job was β€œdishwasher” I went with this one. And, as you can see, it has the Coors Light option. 😁😁😁

I have a question about the sprayer hose. I can see when there is mold in the clear, plastic hose and can easily change it out. Do these metal hoses have issues with mold, and how difficult are they to change or can they be changed?

We have mold/mildew whatever issues here, never had 'em when I lived in CA but the faucets and sinks are happy to let ya know they need cleaning regularly. Having said that, I've never seen any residue or growth in our current sprayer hose. And the metal ones are just a plastic hose covered in metal. We do get growth on the head, which we just clean regularly.

Ok, this came in last week but I couldn't be bothered to install it. I did today... kicked my butt! 3 hours later it's in. Granted some of that time was looking for a YouTube video because the instructions sucked... the delta videos sucked too! Then there was the time spent trying to buff out the corrosion the old one left, it's better but needs a Dremel and some bar keepers friend. However, I won't be doing that, new sink and backsplash are coming one of these days if we ever do the counter tops.

Old one and the cracked base that built up the scale where we couldn't clean it.

Then the new one was hard to install by myself because the faucet wants to wobble on the seal, I figured out a work around for that (the bottle of stovetop cleaner wedged in perfect)... couldn't keep my helpers out of my way though.

Then I needed multiple.breaks because my body was NOT happy doing all the behind the sink.stuff on my back. Only worse thing is working under your dash with the seats still in the car.

And done, for now (except all the cleaning I need to do, I got SOS pad crap flung everywhere from trying to get the corrosion and scale up from the old faucet)

This makes me happy. This utility sink at work always had dirt collecting in the corners and washing any dishes was a pain. Even without the right tool for the job, drilling 2 holes, modifying 1 hole, amd making 1 for the soap was faster than installing the faucet at my house.
