MY first Thermo Pen is here!!! Ordered 03/11 as I said in earlier post and it arrived at my door yesterday.To me looks brand new. Original box it seems, all documentation and even a little bag of Jelly bellies included:} Again thanks to Pit Boss for the heads up. I've had a few "instant" read thermometers over the years and none were very instant. This is replacing Chef Remi I bought in December claiming to be instant that I instantly religated out of BBQ gadget bag to the back of a kitchen drawer upon receiving this new MK4. What a great unit this is. Yes it is indeed instant and more important to me a great easy to read display for these old eyes. If you don't already have one buy one. If you have 3 [Huskkee] buy another just to get the free Jelly Bellies. Heck I have 2 Maverick ET732s. As I said earlier ya can't have too many thermometers. Can you???

Scotch: Current favorite- The Arran (anything by them), Glenmorangie 12yr Lasanta, sherry cask finished. The Balvenie Double Wood, also like Oban 18yr, and The Glenlivet Nadurra (Oloroso sherry cask finished) among others. Neat please.

You'll definitely love it. We check fishtank water when cleaning & refilling our tank, fridge temps, and my son even informed me he used it to check his temp when he was sick. It works! (Although can't recommend sticking it in a kid's mouth, it's quite pointy) Oh, and we even check meat temp with them.
