Artificial Grass

This is a sample image of the grass I chose to install. I hope the color is ok. I looked at the samples again,
and there was only a slight difference in the color. I pulled a leaf off of a bush and chose the one that looked like the leaf. It is a slightly brighter green than the darker one, but both looked pretty good next to each other. Depending on how the blades were lying down there were times I couldn't tell much difference between them. Of course, online images aren't the best guide. I don't think the sample was quite this bright in person but definitely had some yellow-green in it.

I have been on the fence about it for a while, but I can no longer live with the dirt.

We installed a pet version turf too. Lots of holes to allow drainage. I have 4 dogs (2 malinois and a Chesapeake Bay Retriever shown in the photo and a pug). Unless they aren't feeling well, clean up is pretty easy. We feed raw which makes their poop way smaller and hard.

If they get the runs? We pickup, spray some odoban and then water to break it up and spray more odoban. It's rare, generally when my girl comes into heat, it affects her stomach.

The grass is indestructible! My mals are protection sport trial dogs (PSA) and were very destructive to regular grass. Lots of full force run followed by immediate stops. Just destroyed the grass.

The other nice thing is that in spring, it lools great when everyone else has brown grass.

We have got some weeds near the ends after we planted 80 cedars and turned up soil. I pull them, spray weed killer and they don't return. Maybe an hour of effort all summer.
