I remember my parents had a Stanley thermos back in the day, probably 35 years ago at least. Pretty cool to see these things still. Always brings back memories.

I actually purchased a Stanley cook set for my bikepacking gear, and made me think of these!

I work at a brewery and we've used two different thermal mugs for sale. The second one is not a Stanley - they work, they have a lid but...

The Stanley's we got - they were expensive, they have no lid BUT, when you're done drinking for the night, you can leave your mug on the trailer counter or the house counter, wake up in the morning, and still have ice in the thing. No lid, no cap and it holds cold overnight.

I'd buy a Stanley any day of the week! And I'm pretty sure my dad has one of those ones like Troymeister has - I'll have to see if I can "borrow" it.

My dad had one with a stopper that had a metal flip tab on top. I think my younger brother has it.
I will try to get some pics. He used it to take cold milk to work. He drank more milk than anything I have ever seen.
