Dr ROK , that is the same one I have. Pretty happy with it, but wanted to see what others use. That said, I do wish it had an adjustable neck.
@mgaretz and Max Good . I looked at the ones you mentioned, but think that it wont work on a Weber kettle handle. Are you using them on a Weber kettle?
Thank you ALL. VERY much!

For quickers cooks, I use my headlamp. When I think I'll be out more frequently or on longer cookers, I pull out the outdoor extension cord and plug in the halogen shop light I picked up at Harbor Freight - like this one (only cheaper with the usual 20% coupon). Puts out some serious light. Although now the cord gets used for the pellet cooker, so I just use the flashlight on my iPhone to check cooks on it.

I just don't want to light up my grill...I want to light up my food with the right color (spectrum). I realize the science of grilling is all about temperature and I got the toys (Thermapen, Maverick ) but Mrs Lucky (also known as Plaintiff #1) wants it to look pretty too. Does anyone have any experience on what types of lights produce the truest colors? (Canadian interpretation: What it looks like at noon (June) should be what it looks like at midnight (December) )
Thanks,
Pete
