Large Big Green Egg, Weber Performer Deluxe, Weber Smokey Joe Silver, Fireboard Drive, 3 DigiQs, lots of Thermapens, and too much other stuff to mention.
Thank you sir, good input - sadly, our kitchen freezer space is already heavily subscribed, but I know I'm not making best use of that end of the chestie. Food for thought. (See what I did there?)
Mine came with some sliding baskets that i put the little stuff in. Larger roasts go at the bottom. System works well but I clean my freezer once a year to rotate anything thats getting on and to keep ice buildup minimal. It's a GE unit I got about a decade ago.
Laminate them for easier reuse.
This one was my favorite due to the extra instructions.

I have a tab in my food spreadsheet for that... I keep it updated. Old habits from my beer brewing days, update that inventory the day you use or add anything!
Hokay, I took the excellent advice from Mosca by way of Michael_in_TX on getting some of those blue plastic recycling bins for the chestie - four of 'em did the trick. Love it! Huge improvement. I also realized I had laid by a bunch of the freezer packs that shipped with various meat orders, and I don't need to keep all those. That freed up significant volume. Check it out:
Everybody out of the pool! Note the plethora of freezer packs in the foreground, and the stacked blue bins in the background.
Great fit. I scraped off most of that frost before I was through, as well.
Bottom layer has chicken and fish in one bin, large beef cuts in the other. Couple of large roasts on the compressor bump, and some ribs in the space between the bins and the wall.
Upper bins have pork and smaller beef cuts. More ribs in the gap. Very nifty. I held on to a couple of those freezer packs, and could still hang the basket with my Trader Joe's mac n cheese packages I also have my temp sensor lashed to the underside of the basket, since there's no way to stick it on the wall of the chestie, the adhesive is laughably ineffective on that textured surface, whether it's warm or cold. The plastic bag has the vacuum-pack leftovers and fat trimmings.
This is a huge improvement. Many thanks for all the input here!
