Panhead John 's BBQ cookbook. The recipes were bad enough, but when the centerfold of him unfolded unannounced, that killed the book right there.

Be glad you didn't get the pop-up version (my therapist can easily afford a small luxury yacht). 😵‍💫

Make fun of me all you want Ron! But don’t forget….you asked me for my famous Vienna Sausage and Spaghetti O’s recipe, which I’ll be more than happy to share your PM to me, asking for it!

Weber rotisserie for my Genesis. Sits too low that even with removing the grates and the bird tied up tight, it would still graze the flavorizer bars.

I'd rather think Costco rotisserie chicken.

THIS! Genesis II rotisserie sucks rocks. Worst thing I ever got, and only used once.

I love the concept of the BBQ Dragon but they don't last more than a couple months. Went through two of them and gave up. Now I just grab my leaf blower if I need to get the charcoal lit quickly.

Grill grates. I never use them. Not sure where I put them. Years ago I bought a cos. I never learned to use it, it became rusted lawn art before I hauled it away.

I tried really hard to like them for a couple of years in my Weber kettle. Finally had enough of trying to keep them clean, tossed them and haven't missed them.

    #21
I bought a fish basket and never used it. I think I tossed it when I moved a couple years ago.

I probably would have tossed it after the 1st use anyway cause that thing looked impossible to fully clean and remain sane.

        Masterbuilt MPS 340/G

Defective thermostat. Never worked. No customer support. Ended up giving it to a neighbor. He hasn't used it either.

Oh, let me count the ways… Like a number of you Grill Grates would be pretty high on my list.

A attachable grill light. Never used!

Donar kebab spike. Used once! Really should cook this more…

Charcoal basket for Akorn. Not used in six months. To be fair, this would be used heavily if the Akorn was my only cooker but I have had a lot of challenges cooking this year. I can still see this getting used in more normal times.

Hestan Aspire gasser. Cost well over $5K. Used it a few times and gave it away to a local fire station.

Grilltastic electric grill brush - never used it, but somehow thought "just gotta have it". A-MCS (Accessory Multi Cooker Syndrome).

Kitchenaide meat grinder attachment - hiding somewhere in the garage. Just dang lazy on my part - it's probably a nice tool.

BUT - I love my GrillGrates!

Old Glory The comment by IFCBZ (god, please shorten that handle 😁) has my posts on the Hestan. Bottom line: I got sucked in to the beauty of the grill and ignored some criteria I had set before looking/buying that the Hestan design do not meet. The fire station folks are quite happy with it though! They converted it to natural gas as well, which these high BTU grills probably need.

GolfGeezer Makes sense since it was the lower line. I have heard many good things about the top tier Hestans. Very very nice of you to donate to the fire station.

I had a Kitchenaide Meat Grinder Attachment for years. Probably ran a couple dozen deer through it. Then someone gave me a Cabela's Meat Grinder and I couldn't believe how much faster the grinding went. It made me wish I had upgraded years ago.

Grill grates. Used them a few times and then pretty much never again. I occasionally use one of the panels over a chimney for after burner searing.

This thing. Tip Top Temp for Weber Kettles. I know it should work, but it is about equally hard as monitoring the temp yourself and making adjustments.
