Sure, Panhead John all I need to do is buy another thermometer. Even if I could convince myself it made sense, she who balances the checkbook every month wouldn't be quite as understanding.

Haha on the non-faves Mark V that’s why I have a stick blender in the box, metal Kitchen Aid grinder attachment in the box, Misen Dutch Oven with two lids, 5 or 6 quart food processor used a couple times, a griddle for the WSCG, etc. Though to be fair I only have a few cooking things I’ve bought and not yet used. I have woodworking tools and accessories I’ve never used and are still around 20+ years later…someday is still ahead, right?Last edited by glitchy; February 15, 2022, 12:12 AM.

Meat fork thermometers. Why do people keep gifting me these trash can fillers?
Propane weed burner, for when "slowdown and grill" doesn’t apply.
Compact rapid fire Weber chimney. The little one lights 8 coals easier for me for the s&s plus I’ve been putting until coals in the Weber baskets and topping them with less hot coals so the cooks start off at lower temps.

Don't have an excess of equipment but that that I do have is all used to the extent it would probably be seen as abused.
These are not only faves but necessities.
BBQ
Kettle
Maverick XR50
Instant read thermometer
Weber hinged grate (needs replacing. Eyeing the Weber gourmet BBQ system but for a few more pennies I can get another kettle)
Poortex
My homebuilt cabinet gas smoker that has kind of been sidelined. Only see's action for larger cooks. Too big for everyday use, but is still much loved.

COOKING
8L oil fryer (gas)
Flattop

Backyard Jambo, T1000 Woodmaster, MAK 2 star, 14" & 22" WSM, 2x 22" Weber Kettle, Stoven, Hot Box Grill, Hasty Bake Ranger, RecTeq Bullseye, GMG Davy Crockett; Original Grilla and others I'm not remembering!
Best is my competition cooking setup: Winnegago Travato 59G, backyard Jambo on Geer Trailer, Green Mountain Davy and styrofoam Cambro.
At home, it's my OG which I won in 2017 at the World Food Championships. Jumbo Joe and vortex is 2nd. I have come to love rubber basting brushes and grilling pans and my Thermopen original.
I have to think on the bottom of the list. Sometimes I just have to pinch myself -- having too much fun!

I always love looking at your smoker Candy, it’s a beauty! Also really like the tires and wheels, I think that’s the crowning touch for any trailer.

Panhead John - easy with the innuendos. Kids could be reading!

I have many accessories I love, but #1 is Fireboard/Pit Viper. My least favorite (that I haven't already given or thrown away) are veggie baskets. PIA to clean. No matter how much oil I spray on them, everything sticks. They don't come clean in the dishwasher and shred Scotchbrite pads due to the perforations.

I had a cheap electric smoker years ago. Turned out the worst chicken I ever had. Ate 2 bites and threw the rest away. Then gave the smoker away.

IMO, it isn't that I can't make food that tastes ok on the cheap electric smoker, its just that once I bought a KBQ and figured out that I could also smoke on my Weber Kettle and my BGE.... why would I EVER use an electric smoker again?
