You can remove me from the “thinking about it” list. Sorry.

texastweeter Actually the wifey decided she wanted to travel and used up the budget. She went off with her sister for a trip to Maine of all places. Then a trip to Door County, WI next month for the annual fall celebrations up there. Again, with her sister. That’s all ok. Get to have guys over for bbq while she’s gone. Like today’s meataplalooza which I will post later.

Jfrosty27 My mother's family is from Maine. I've been there a lot. It's great except when it is cold.

Since several people are bringing various cheeses, crackers, sausages, etc, to our next Meat Up, I am bringing two different bourbons for a group tasting like the impromptu tasting that Uncle Bob took the lead doing at the last Meat Up in San Marcos. If others wanted to bring a bottle of booze or wine for a group tasting as well, that will be great. It should be fun to try different things. Everybody is welcome to participate with or without bringing something. No pressures, just fun. Very casual.

Panhead John - only if it’s the banquet style

I'd be happy to supply a variety of crackers. Also, I have some smoked gouda and cheddar cheese from Sweetwater Valley Cheese in Tennessee. The different cheeses are made on-site from their dairy cows. I'll bring some to the gathering.

Never liked Boone's Farm or Cold Duck but I admit I drank a Bartles & Jaymes wine cooler or two. Also, remember Jack Daniel's Green Label?
