I’ll have some pictures of the PK up in just a bit. Right now we are in the middle of a severe thunderstorm with warnings for baseball size hail and flooding.

The only place I could get to with the PK without going outside was my living room. After thinking about I decided animals that have been grilled are an acceptable back drop for a grill. The first thing I realized was this is a solid grill. Both boxes have considerable weight to them. After the unpacking and making sure I hadn’t left any parts in the boxes I laid the parts on one side of the room and the packaging on the other. It was very well packed, lot of heavy cardboard and styrofoam. The instructions were easy to follow and the assembly went off without a hitch. My opinion as of now is I picked the right one for me. It’s larger, heavier, and even better built than I had expected. I’ll move it out onto the screened in porch tomorrow. I’m thinking the proper way to welcome the new grill home is going to be ribeyes this weekend. I still find it hard to believe this happened but from the bottom of my heart thank you to every pit member and the fine folks at PK.
