Holy moly, mackerel and cow!!! We have a trifecta this month! Congratulations Mosca, SammyJ and Panhead John!

Well, the good folks at my local fire station have a new griddle and were all really appreciative! I got the chance to meet all 10 or 11? of the heroes there on that particular shift. Captain Stephen and some his crew gave me a tour of the firehouse and explained all the features, equipment and tools stored on the truck that they use regularly. I didn’t know this but he said that about 90% of their calls are medical related and not actual fires. He said it best when he told me that firefighters are really a Jack of all trades. I never knew they carried so much different equipment and tools on those trucks, wow! There’s probably not any type of situation that could happen to someone that they’re not prepared for. Sadly, they also carry bullet proof vests in their trucks.

They gave me a really cool T-Shirt and a District patch!



Please note the patch says “Supervisor”……yep, that’s me alright! 🙄


After noticing my incredible physique they all wanted to show me that they work out too.

Captain Stephen promised me I could drive this to the next fire!….🥸






I didn’t get any more pics, but wow, what an impressive bunch of folks I met… and this tour gave me a greater appreciation for what they do, even more so than I had before!
