As I do every month when the winner is announced I looked over the prize list to decide what I would have chosen. This time I was surprised to realize that instead of the Hasty Bake, or my more recent consideration the PK, I would probably choose the Blaze 3 burner gas grill. I like my 2 burner Weber Spirit, but a third burner, and a higher end gas grill would probably be a sensible upgrade.

Congratulations to you Mr. Bones! I can't think of someone more worthy than you to win this thing. I believe you may have been one of the first people to welcome me to the pit. And knowing you, probably most every new member here, lol. Never seen a negative comment from you, only helpful advice. Thank you sir, and enjoy whatever prize you choose. As I'm sure you will, lol. Cheers brother!

After ponderin considerable, ruminatin on where I'm goin, an wanna go with my cookin, I am delighted to announce that I will choose th Good One Open Range cooker as my prize.
Hope that sets okay with yall.
I been sorely tempted, multiple times, by GOOR's on CL, from $350-$600, even went an looked at a few.
Somehow, I always jus barely managed to keep it in my trousers. (My wallet, ya degenerates! )
Usually, th deal breaker was that th New Gen has a reversible lid, an I am an options kinda guy.
Yup, I savvy Brother Brad could weld it up, 6 ways to Sunday, anyhow I want, but, weirdly enough, they now make one jus like that, brand-spankin new, with a warranty, an now, (however freaky it may still seem to me!!!!!), FREE!!!!!
So, there yall have it.
Thanks don't even begin to cover it!!!!!
I wanna take this moment to thank all yall fer yer outpourin of support, and kind words.
Reckon I'ma pour me a few fingers, an go set out front, watch fer th delivery truck lol!
With my very best regards to yall!!!!Last edited by Mr. Bones; August 10, 2018, 09:14 AM.

Mr. Bones Check your email for the paperwork!
I just realized I never sent you the initial "official" winner announcement email, since you replied in this post and acknowledged it so quickly I never had to (first time for that)!

Well, Mr. Bones you took what I always thought would be my pick until uncertainty moved in with the last two additions. Anyway, give a report on how it cooks. Of course, I never win anything, but you never know.

Mr. Bones , Love the choice there friend! I know exactly nothing about that cooker, but have been interested in it and can’t wait to get your thoughts on it! As a fellow OKJ guy, I’ll be exceptionally interested in the pros/cons between the two!
