    Newsletters "Hot From The Pit", "Show Us What You're Cooking", "Smoke Signals", And "DigestThis.news"

    "Hot From The Pit" & "Show Us What You're Cooking" Members-Only Newsletters

    Hot From The Pit is a 2-edition email newsletter that we send monthly to let you know about the past month's fun in The Pit.

    "Hot From The Pit" is sent late-month and gives you a monthly recap of announcements, special deals, the latest sweepstakes winners, new features, sneak peeks of brand new recipes/gear reviews/articles published on the free side, planned maintenance outages or other important announcements, and new any features we're deploying.

    "Show Us What You're Cooking (SUWYC)" comes mid-month and shows off those glorious drool-worthy food pictures submitted by you and your fellow members from the past month in our current seasonal Show Us What You're Cooking topic in The Pit.
    Make sure you tell your email program that email from amazingribs.com is not spam. Usually there is a setting for domains that are allowed called the white list, or just add huskee[at]amazingribs[dot]com as a Contact.

    These are sent mid-month and late-month as described above. Make sure you open them! Some guys named Huskee & Spinaker put them together and it's a labor of love powered by YOU, the members! Without you neither one would exist, and "Show Us What You're Cooking" would be blank...the horror!

    "Smoke Signals"

    Smoke Signals
    is our public newsletter that comes out a couple times per month. Anyone can sign up for this, you don't have to be a member, and you can find the signup link in the upper-right corner on any page of the free site, or here. It contains a lot of useful info including new articles on the free part of the site.
    "DigestThis.news"

    DigestThis is a once a month hand-curated newsletter contains the latest news from all corners of the culinary world from farm to fork. It is is skillfully and lovingly prepared by Maddox Joachim, professional chef and son of our Editorial Director, Dave Joachim.

    Haven't been getting the newsletters?

    All paid & trial members should get the "Hot From The Pit" & "Show Us What You're Cooking (SUWYC)" monthly newsletters. Unless you've cancelled your membership or previously unsubscribed from one of the newsletters (which blocks you from receiving them at that email address), your email should be on our contact list that we download each month from our active members list.

    If you haven't been receiving them, you may have unsubscribed and forgotten, or they could be going to spam, so please check the following:
    1. Verify they are not in your spam or trash folders in your email program,
    2. Add @amazingribs.com to your safe senders list, or even to your Contacts list
    3. Verify we have the correct email on file for you by clicking My Membership from the main red menu bar above, then click My Settings from the drop-down, and then the Accounttab. Or simply click here.
    4. If you need to change or update your email address with us, please fill out this form here.
    5. If you've unsubscribed and want to re-subscribe, send an email to huskee[at]amazingribs[dot]com and he'll fix you up.


    Help, my newsletters are still going to my old email address!

    Updating your email address in your membership settings changes membership-related notices from our system, such as renewal reminders, but the newsletters' delivery address must be changed separately, as they are different systems.It's easy, simply scroll to the bottom footer of one of our newsletters, and near where you see Unsubscribe, click on Update Profile as shown below. This will allow you to tell Constant Contact, our newsletter system, where to send them.
