What Do "Club Member", "Charter Member", and "Founding Member" Mean?
As an honorarium to our loyal longtime members, we give them special titles as follows:
Founding Member is a designation for members who joined our first month; July 14, 2014 through August 2014, and have maintained their active status since.
Charter Member is one who joined our first year (after Founding Members); September 2014 through July 2015, and have maintained their active status since.
Club Member is all other active members.
Trial Member is a member who is in a free 30-Day or special 90-Day Free Trial.
In Memoriam is a very special title for our Pitmaster Club Members who've sadly passed away.
Former Member is a member who is no longer active, so don't try to message them.
Further titles you will see:
Moderator or Administrator is a staff member, either a BBQ Whisperer or an IT whisperer, sometimes both.
You may see a couple members listed as "Moderator Emeritus" or similar, these represent former Moderators/Admins who we love and are still around, but no longer in an official capacity.
Any other member titles should be self explanatory.
