I have a backyard Jambo that looks like that. Set the intake damper, get your fire going and then play with the temp using the exhaust damper. You'll find her sweet spot soon enough.

The firebox sits a bit higher than "normal" offsets, very similar to the LSG Texas Edition, and perhaps some Jambos. Does it have a vertical deflector at the transfer portal to raise heat to the top of the cook chamber?

Honestly, I didn't look too much on the inside yet, but I believe I did see a little vertical deflector that is sitting a little higher than normal.

Congrats. I just got mine on Friday. I just paid full for mine. Haha. Got it cleaned and burned off. Did ribs and chicken for lunch and corned beef and cabbage for dinner on Sunday. Happy cooking

That is a chud box.

I’ve had many different pits. Fun to try them all.

It was running 275-300 really easily. 8-10” split every 20-25 mins. Intake basically closed and just some fine tuning on the exhaust.
