I might need to look into one for my Yoder. I'd been simply using a fireplace rack like this one in place of the heavy steel grate designed for it, since that sat too high up above the coals that dropped down and I don't have the tools to cut it smaller to sit lower. But this basket might be a good option to play with....
You betcha! One idea that I’m sure most people can fabricate is to complement the above mentioned rack with expanded metal that you fold with your hands and feet. Just put your foot in the middle and “fold up” the walls on either side. Should be a cheap start to see if it works for you and your smoker.
My comment on the previous post is due to me thinking the walls are important here, so by bending the expanded metal into a wide “U” and then placing it in/on the rack you linked to then I think it should be close enough to try out Huskee
