As a kid in central Nebraska, we had a bunch of gravity irrigation, with a section of permanent dirt ditch. In the Spring, Dad would take a 5 gallon can of gasoline, sprinkle it along, stand back about 10 feet, and throw a kitchen match. A quarter mile of weeds would burst into flame. This may not be a desirable solution for you.
Welcome, and showing myself out.

First welcome. The exterior iron piping replacement is easily done, but the burner pipe inside could be the hiccup. Measure the length of the internal burner pipe inside the burn chamber.
Just a quick search found this:
You will need a regulator and of course a shutoff valve too. Some companies like Lone Star Grillz and Yoder sell their own too which might come with the regulator and valve in their kits. In any case you might want to check their burner pipes too just for ideas.
Good luck.

Not intending to advertise another bbq forum, but bbq brethren is much more stick burner focused than here. I’d ask this question there, but hang out here after you get it restored because overall this group is far more welcoming and fun. Not that they are at all bad people over there, but they are a pretty small tight knit group overall, with 6-12.peeps posting regularly. There are a fair number of stick burner owners here (myself included), but most I know have newer units like LSGs, KBQs, and such. We’ll all help you cook, find the best accessories and joke around after you get it running though and would love to learn from your journey.
There is probably someone there with your offset, but it might take them a month or two to respond and send you a pic.

So... after some searching on the internet (may or may not be accurate) I found that the 30” Oklahoma Joe Offset Trailer pit may have been built by Horizon Smokers for Oklahoma Joe. They do have a replacement log lighter bar listed on their website but without much info. Ph # 580.336.2400
Hope this turns out well and helpful.

Back in the old days I was tired of the log lighter in our fireplace rusting out. I had a local machine shop make me one out of schedule 80 1/2 inch stainless steel pipe. It was still going strong when I sold the house years later. It may be that you can have something made that is better than you can buy.
