I've been using this site for a couple of years now. This site solidified my choice in smoker ( Rec Tec 680) and grill ( Napolean LEX485). I look forward to learning from the members here and sharing any tricks and tips that I come across.
Scotch: Current favorite- The Arran (anything by them), Glenmorangie 12yr Lasanta, sherry cask finished. The Balvenie Double Wood, also like Oban 18yr, and The Glenlivet Nadurra (Oloroso sherry cask finished) among others. Neat please.

Why do I keep following Huskee on these welcome threads? Anyway welcome to a place that you have no fear of bullying or intimidation as we all have experienced social behavior that has effected us in some way....except cooking. Welcome
Thanks everyone. I know it's been a while since I last posted. Lots of OT at work and family situations have kept me busy. I've had the rectec for almost 4 years now and have to say that I love it. I don't fancy myself as a pitmaster. I just want to make good food and the rectec makes that very easy. I had to replace the igniter rod during the winter. Pretty easy task and the customer service at rectec is the best that I have ever delt with. The Napolean has been great as well. My brother liked it so much that he bought one himself. I hope to be on here more in the future and contribute when I can. Take care.
