                  What to do with left over pot roast? I made pot pie and it turned out very good. I am a bit irritated that the crust shrank up...

                  Well, I just realized this is not in the right place...

                    smokin fool - not really. All I do is use the leftovers in the pie. I do try to make lots of gravy and add extra veggies when I cook the roast. And I use Kenji's food processor pie crust recipe. That's both the easiest and best crust recipe I have found. I heat the gravy 'cause it solidifies when cold, shred the meat and cut up the carrots and potatoes. Then everything goes in the pie plate and I top it with the crust. Do stir it up so everything gets well mixed before adding the crust.

                    Almost forgot onions. I cut them up too. If I don't have enough of some of the veggies, I'll microwave some until almost done, cut 'em up, and add to the pie.
