    Introduction

Hello from Central Coast of California.

I have owned a Webber Kettle for about two months, a GMG pellet cooker for about 6 months, a Pit Barrel Cooker for about two weeks. I have only been grilling and smoking on a mom gas grill for about 6 months.

My favorite cooks so far have been: Turkey breast, pork butt, chicken, and St. Louis pork ribs. If I had to choose my top two it would be ribs and chicken.

I got a 9 lb brisket flat for Christmas and it will be my first brisket.

I have been studying up have the science of bbq and grilling by Meathead.

my current project is perfecting my own signature all purpose rub using Paul Kirk’s championship rubs and sauces as a guide.

No sh€t I actually was in a commercial with him way back in the early 80’s. Cool dude. And really not that tall. I’m a couple of inches taller. 😁
      Great memories though. 👍
