I'm John, and I've been looking forward to joining the Pitmaster Club for a long time. I'm blessed with two jobs and don't have as much time to cook as I'd like. I think I'm just out of the newbie stage and moving into being an intermediate outdoor cook. I look forward to learning a lot from all of you other Pitmasters. One of my goals is to recreate a couple of BBQ dishes Dad used to cook on his cast Iron Cook'n'Kettle grill. I will post questions about those when I find the correct topics to post in.

We drove from the Dallas Area to Virginia Beach almost 10 years ago when my son the Marine went to MOS there. We loved it. Still have the "I Love Jet Noise" magnet on the fridge!
