Welcome! I would recommend researching a lot more before buying a Pit Boss. From what I’ve seen much lower quality than other pellet grills out there. Weber, Camp Chef, Pitts and Spitts, and many other brands have awesome reputations. A lot comes down to what you want for end features and do you want a lifetime grill or a 5-10 year grill.

Do you just want a set it and forget it smoker? Do you want a searing grill and pizza baker too?

I’m a huge pellet grill fan and will say pellets produce more flavor than a gas grill and a very few somewhat close to charcoal smokers, none anywhere close to a stick burner.

Mostly looking for a pure smoker to last 5 to 10 years, consistent temp, and good warranty. I have a gas grill that rocks for searing. The only nice feature would be WiFi but it isn’t essential.

You have lots to choose from then. Camp Chef, Grilla, Recteq all have WiFi options. Yoder, Blazn, Pitts and Spitts if your budget allows are a notch up in quality and US built. Smokin Bros also builds in Missouri and is probably in between those two groups for price.

Thanks! I will check out the other brands. Looking to spend about 1,500ish but budget isn’t a huge issue as this is basically my only hobby lol. Dad of three hungry boys!

Welcome from Colorado ... I suggest that you have a look at the Grilla Grills lineup. Great quality, greater support, and very reasonable pricing.
