Hello! I have followed amazingribs.com for years and bought his cookbook. I got my first smoker earlier this year and loved it! I am looking to upgrade to something with more space and that can maintain a constant temp. I have a cheap pellet smoker currently.
Anyone have thoughts on the Pit Boss Navigator?
Thanks!

For a pellet smoker, I recommend the Weber Smokefire. Go and read glitchy ‘s thread for why in the Weber channel. The Pit Boss tend to be unreliable on the temp control and overall quality leaves a lot to be desired.
Thanks! I have a Lousianna series 7, and the temp control is all over the place. 225 is regularly 210. 250 tends to be 260. The difference between the racks is huge too.
Maybe I just have a bad control board or probe, but it is annoying.
