    Better late than never?

    I'm 6 months into my membership, and I figured it is probably a good time to introduce myself. What can I say, it's been an interesting year

    I can say I've been lurking consistently since I signed up, didn't really mean it to be that way but that's where we are...and I blame you folks, since I've been busy learning so much here that I never found anywhere else (everything from how to get a good smoke flavor and use a fan on my PBC to what to expect from my knee replacement). An insane amount of knowledge lives in the Pit!

    I do all my cooking on either a PBC or a Weber 26, and love them both. Hope to contribute in the future!

                What you didn’t know is that there is a fine for every month you don’t post in the introduce yerself channel. With 6 mos that requires some consideration on what to do on our part & how severe the penalties will be. We’ll get back to ya.

                  Welcome, and I also do pretty much all of my cooking on a 26” Weber and a PBC.

                    I can't imagine cooking on anything else, although in this forum I think all the time about cooking on a lot of other things for some odd reason...

                    That’s called MCS...it’s extremely contagious and can get expensive to cure!!

                  Welcome from TN! Let me know if you need knee info - had both of mine done a few years ago. On the cook front, I am still learning from these peeps - man, there is a lot of knowledge around here...

                    Thanks! I'm just about 6 weeks out from surgery, seem to be doing well though I probably don't need to tell you it's a journey. I did manage to smoke one of my best briskets ever about 10 days ago though, I consider that a rehab milestone. Odd that wasn't part of the PT exercise list
